We cater birthdays, reunions, weddings, corporate events, showers, holiday packages, and even dessert! Classically French trained, Chef owned with roots in Italian, Mexican and fusion cooking, Root 76 Cuisine can provide a vast variety of savory and sweet foods fit for any palate.

About Our Chef
Chef Jason

Chef Jason has served on the board of Houston County Career Academy as the President, serving the public school system in Houston County as a mentor for young chefs interested in the culinary arts through regional competitions, classroom exercises, health and safety studies, and judging local cooking competitions.

Chef Jason is also currently on the advisory council at Helms College, for the Hospitality and Culinary programs, where the committee meets once a quarter to discuss the future and progress within the academic curriculum for the associates and diploma programs.

Chef Jason currently holds credentials of CEC, Certified Executive Chef, through the American Culinary Federation, and has been a proud member since 2012.

Chef Jason, a military son where his father, a Marine toured the U.S. gained his love for cooking from his father, an avid baker. While growing up, his dad would produce, what he claims to be the best banana bread ever! Jason born in Wilmington North Carolina moved to Japan when a child, then to California, and finally settled and graduated culinary school in 1993 from Long Island, New York. Chef Jason has since been the Executive Chef for companies like, Courtyard by Marriott, Warner Robins GA., Houston Lake Country Club, Perry GA., and a relief district manager for Waffle House where he honed his short order cooking techniques

Jason also serves the local christian community through plays and cooking for dinner theaters where 600+ people attend the Center Stage for Christ plays through the Perry United Methodist Church and has been cooking church night supper for Sandy Valley Baptist Church since 2013 where an average of 80 people eat before attending service each Wednesday.

Root 76 Cuisine is a proud member of the American Culinary Federation, Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce. Chef Jason has been involved with the local community and economic growth by hosting and cooking for companies scouting the area for a place to develop.
